How Day-VEST Works
Our members contact cooperating employers periodically to see if job openings exist. Information and specific requirements for a position are written on a job order which is then passed to another member who quickly locates Day-VEST members who may posess the required skills
Selected resumes are then reviewed by a team of members to determine whether a candidate? experience meets the employer? requirements. When a match is found, the resumes are mailed to the hiring authority. Employers may call candidates directly to schedule interviews or may prefer to call Day-VEST to reach members.
In addition, Day-VEST maintains job postings received from government agencies and other local businesses so that members can conveniently review them
What Does It Cost To Join Day-VEST?
Day-VEST does not charge members or employers for its services, however members are asked to make a weekly donation of $2.00 to help defray the cost of office supplies and other operating expenses. Each week members donate a minimum of four (4) hours of their time to Day-VEST.
